HEMET HERITAGE FOUNDATION PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION
Residents of the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley are invited to attend an interesting Hemet Heritage Foundation/Hemet Museum Meeting on Monday, December 14 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Diamond Valley Middle School Library at 291 W. Chambers St. in Hemet.
Those who come will be treated to a special program by Officer Jim Walsh titled “Law and Order in Hemet or Yore” covering the early days of the 105 year old Hemet Police Department.
After the program, a raffle will be held to win the first prize of “A Day of Antiquing & Dining for Two” with expert appraisers, Chuck Schoenknecht and Ward Paul. Tickets are $5 or 3 for $10 and purchasers do not have to be present to win. To buy raffle tickets, contact Diane Boss (951) 634-4952 or email@example.com or buy them at the meeting. Chuck and Ward will set a date with the two lucky winners to spend a day antiquing at their favorite antique shops in the San Jacinto Valley, another city or both. They will explain good, better and best and help the winners collect what they like or start them on a new collection while teaching them to bargain. If the winners prefer, Chuck and Ward would come to their home to appraise their antiques instead.
The second prize will be a Lifetime Hemet Heritage Foundation/Hemet Museum Membership and the third prize will be an antique and book on collecting. All proceeds from the raffle will go to benefit the Hemet Museum www.hemetmuseum.com . No more than $500 in tickets will be sold. Chuck and Ward have matched this amount with their own generous donation of $500.
